Hi, I’m Heather
Founder of Orange Organising Co.
I work alongside people in their homes — no judgement, no pressure — to bring calm, function, and clarity to the spaces that matter most.
My Story…
You'll often find me knee-deep in other people's clutter — with a sense of humour about the things we discover, and a strong drive to find creative, practical solutions that actually work for you.
Before becoming a professional organiser, I spent over twenty years across education, health and fitness coaching, and disability support — meeting people where they are and helping them move toward their goals.
After a slow mission to declutter our own family home, I learnt first-hand how strongly our surroundings shape how we feel. With a decluttered home, life felt calmer. The overwhelm lifted. Our mental health improved, and the way we lived shifted entirely.
As I shared my experience with other families, I realised so many were quietly drowning under the clutter inside their homes — just like we had been.
That's how Orange Organising Co. began.
What I do…
A professional organiser is a trained specialist who works alongside people who are too busy, too stressed, or too overwhelmed to tackle their home on their own. Drawing on experience, knowledge, and tested principles, I create spaces and systems that genuinely work for the people who live in them.
As your declutter coach, I provide one-on-one support throughout the whole process — from the first overwhelming look at a cluttered space, to building systems that last. Together, we'll break big goals into manageable steps, work through how to sort and group items, and figure out what to do with the things that hold sentimental value. I'll help you focus, move past roadblocks, and build momentum. I'll support new ways of thinking about your belongings, gently and at your pace. And I'll recommend appropriate ways to dispose of, donate, or recycle whatever's leaving your home.
I'm trained to work across all levels of clutter and disorganisation, including more complex situations such as hoarding behaviours — so wherever you're starting from, you're supported.
Put simply — I'm with you every step of the way.
Making homes functional is what I do.
Professional Development
Working in people's homes — especially with vulnerable clients — comes with real responsibility.
